Katie's next round of chemotherapy started this week. The days were long but we have no complaints: her port was accessed easily and blood draws went smooth; the nurses were as helpful and pleasant as always; my sister and brother-in-law dropped off lunch from Outback one day; and nausea and fatigue were negligible. Truly, she is tolerating it very well - including physically, mentally, and emotionally. Her counts were pretty good again this week. White blood cell count had dropped some but was still up enough to allow chemo to continue as scheduled. She will get an injection later this week to boost those counts. The PET scan results came back showing good response to treatment thus far. The primary site is significantly smaller than on the first scan, and her oncologist is pleased with the response. We are very grateful that her body is responding to this chemo regimen! She will continue with this regimen for a couple more months before a decision is made concerning the need for radiation therapy. Some things definitely had to be scratched off the to do list this year, and Christmas cards were one of those activities. So consider this your Christmas greeting from the Cobb crew. Merry Christmas!
Many blessings from our family to yours! Chad, Sarah, Aaron, Katie, Ben, Annie, and Daniel

I'm continuing to pray for you and the family . I pray that Katie continues to handle the chemo with as few side effects as possible. God is an awesome God and we know he can answer prayers, I myself have seen 2 so far! It's a long and bumpy road but you all are fighters. Stay strong and keep fighting the fight with friends and family to lean on. Continued prayers for you all!

The entire Cobb family is such an inspiration. What a great testimony. Showing once again how God can use something bad, to demonstrate something outstanding. Katie's courage, the family's unity, the community support, i.e. The 5Katie, purple outs especially the basketball game, et al. all serve to demonstrate what Jesus commanded, "LOVE ONE ANOTHER "
