The last couple days have been filled to the brim for our family! I am not sure I have ever felt so loved and blessed before! We knew we had a few friends out there and not many enemies, but your kindness and support has been incredibly humbling for us. We can't even express the depth of our appreciation! Friday was Purple Out at Winfield Middle and Elementary Schools and around the community. My news feed kept blowing up all day with pictures of purple shirts! Then the Sweet Julia Grace Foundation (sweetjuliagracefoundation.com) visited our home and showered us with gifts, and food and sweet surprises. My kids loved being caroled to - complete with Santa! Saturday was a visit with dear friends and an utterly unbelievable 5K, lovingly called the 5Katie Run! So many supporters! Many came for their first ever 5K - and started with a challenging course too. You can see pictures at tristateracer.com or my facebook page. Prayers for this week: - Last week's labs were really good. A normal white count means lots of fun with family and friends for Christmas! - PET scan went fine on Friday. She got through it and then had lunch and her nails done with a friend. We are praying to hear good results on Monday. - Next round of chemo starts tomorrow. We will be at the infusion center several days this week. Please pray for tolerance of this both physically and emotionally. Blessings, Sarah

Love this! I love our church and community and the way folks are surrounding you all with the arms of Jesus. Makes me grateful to be a tiny part of such a beautiful community. My prayer daily is for complete and total healing for Katie from the top of her head to the tips of her toes and for comfort and grace for her momma as she walks courageously alongside her.
